We are Black Dragonfly Studios! We are two goth kids who love building and creating unique photo environments and who have a passion for photography! Black Dragonfly Studios is a photography studio that hosts resident photographers, showcases local artists and is available for studio rentals in Mesa, Arizona. We rotate out seasonal fantasy and alternate reality photo environments all while providing a safe, clean and creative space for local artists! Studio Rental

Add on Irene setting up your lights for you and providing camera setting coaching to any package! Includes use of the Video and Photo lighting in the studio that Irene uses for her shoots.

Can I book your studio to shoot?
We do offer limited rental opportunities for responsible and professional individuals or companies. Please contact us to discuss your needs and our availability.
Do I need to pay a deposit to book the studio?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to lock in your time and date at the studio. The deposit is non-refundable because we spend time, energy and products to clean, sanitize and prepare the space. If you cancel we do not get that time, energy or product back. We also block the day off which means we turn down other opportunities to book so we may ensure the studio is ready for your booking. The $50 covers that part of the booking. If you reschedule the $50 will float to ONE rescheduled date. After that a new deposit will be require to book a new date. Your Deposit is applied towards the total cost of your rental.
What are you doing about Covid?
Prior to each and every booking we clean and sanitize all surfaces prior to the shoot. This includes all counters, door knobs, light switches, hard surfaces, shelves, handles, textiles, upholstery, and any areas that may come in contact with our guests. We then repeat the process immediately after the booking is completed. Prior to entering the studio a temperature check is required using a no touch thermometer which we have on site. Masks must be worn until the temperature check is completed. Masks are worn by all individuals who are not considered "models" at the time of the booking. We ask that escorts and assistants of our guests also wear masks during the booking.
Are you a photographer? Can I book you to shoot me?
We are just a photo studio. We highly suggest you visit TwinFlamesInc.com to book our resident tag team dream team! They are a two person team consisting of a photographer/set designer and makeup/hair and body paint artist. They shoot everything from professional headshots to creative maternity. We can't say enough wonderful things about them!
